Authentic Antique Doors from Early 20th Century China - Wood, Steel

This is a set of authentic building salvage from a Qing (Ching) Dynasty era (1644-1912) building that was torn down during the tumultuous times of the Cultural Revolution. The doors are in original condition, complete with old Maoist graffiti. This is by far one of our favorite finds at Reorient. The old steel hardware has Fu Dog or lion heads on the handles and cloud style steel accents along the top and bottom of the door panels. The chunky old wood block lock is still attached on the backside of the doors. As a room accent these are a stunning piece of history to add to your décor. They could also be incorporated into a new construction or retrofit as a courtyard doorway or formal front entrance.
